PERSONNEL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Health and Physical Education Teacher (2026-2027 SY) Fort Chiswell High School April 23, 2026 Preferred Qualifications:
1. Possesses or qualifies for a Virginia License to teach with an endorsement in Health and
Physical Education.
2. Possesses knowledge and skills in the assigned instructional area.
3. Demonstrates enthusiasm for the teaching and learning processes.
4. Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics necessary for working
effectively with students, school personnel, parents, and members of the school community. SALARY BASED ON THE 2026-2027 TEACHERS' SALARY SCALE Current qualified employees of the Wythe County School Board may submit a letter of interest.
