Job Title: PTA Outpatient Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Days Daily visits: 9 visits per day Number of rooms/beds: 25 First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend requirement: No On-call requirement: No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: No Open to accommodating block schedule: Discuss schedule/time off requests with manager Local candidates accepted: Yes, no radius Required documentation skills and experience: Assessment, Discharge, Short Term Goals, Time Management Required professional skills and knowledge: Home Exercise Program, Lifting and transfer, Signs & symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse Patient diagnoses include neurological conditions, deconditioning, post-surgical recovery, balance disorders, gait abnormalities, amputations, chronic pain, and COPD Experience with vital sign monitoring is essential Consult with the manager regarding schedule/time off requests Floating between an outpatient rehab center and a swing bed unit may occur Special equipment used includes mobility assistive devices and Hoyer lifts Required certifications must be included based on the job/unit description
