Details Work in a 4-8 bed NICU within the Center for Women's Health Patient ratios typically 3:1 or less depending on acuity and census Minimum of 2 NICU nurses staffed at all times on both day and night shifts Uses Alaris pump, Medfusion pump, Dash 5000, phototherapy lights, iStat machine, glucometer, giraffe beds, panda warmer, ohio warmer, bili meter, and traditional ventilator Utilizes Centricity Perinatal and Meditech Expanse EMR systems Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Required to work every other weekend Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required 2 years of hospital setting experience required STABLE certification preferred Delivery team experience preferred Skilled in IV starts, lab draws, medication administration, UVC/UAC line maintenance, patient assessments, assisting with intubation, chest tube placement, umbilical line placement, and circumcision procedures US SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide comprehensive NICU nursing care including line maintenance, assessments, and assisting providers with procedures Scrubs provided by facility Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility No local candidates will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-748444.
