Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Day Shift
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Dates: September 14, 2026 – December 13, 2026
Department: 12-bed Stepdown Unit Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 12-bed Stepdown Unit at Providence Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have strong stepdown/acute care experience and be comfortable caring for patients who require close monitoring and a higher level of nursing care. Qualifications/Initial Requirements
? Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
? Active DCI/BVP
? Previous Stepdown/Acute Care experience required.
? BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
? Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
