Job Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics
• At least 1 year of pediatric physician experience required
• NRP certification required
• Comfortable managing sick newborns and well-baby care
• Experience attending deliveries and C-sections
• Ability to perform or assist with circumcisions; optional frenotomy experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and confidence working in a fast-paced newborn care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide daily rounding and clinical care for newborns in the nursery
• Attend deliveries and C-sections as part of the newborn care team
• Evaluate and manage sick babies in the nursery setting
• Support newborn procedures, including circumcisions and optional frenotomy
• Respond to nighttime call and return to the hospital when needed
• Deliver high-quality pediatric and newborn care with a patient-first approach
