Duties

Help

• You will develop, implement, and manage strategic Life Cycle Logistics and product support plans for complex defense acquisition programs.
• You will lead cross-functional Integrated Product Teams to improve program efficiency, effectiveness, and mission outcomes.
• You will assess program risks, develop corrective actions, and implement solutions that address requirements, technology, safety, and logistics challenges.
• You will develop acquisition strategies that integrate statutory, regulatory, logistics, and evaluation requirements across the life cycle
• You will prepare, review, approve, and present major reports, policies, and executive-level briefings to senior leaders.
• You will lead workforce competency initiatives, including professional development, training, logistics assessments, and organizational process improvements.

• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and executing enterprise-level life cycle logistics and product support strategies within DoW acquisition, leading cross-functional IPTs, resolving complex program risks, and integrating acquisition, logistics, and regulatory requirements. Directing multiple complex programs, developing policies and strategic plans, optimizing resources, and delivering executive-level briefings to senior leaders.
