Job Responsibilities Responsible for quality and conformance of product to customer specifications per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems; authority to stop non-conforming processes and report same to supervisor, Quality Assurance and/or Engineering department representative Perform basic assembly of components and sub-assemblies Operate resistance spot weld machines to assemble products Perform basic safety inspections on equipment and record data Complete SPC (Statistical Process Control) checks and charts as required Weld destruct testing & recording of data as required Basic machine maintenance/weld tip changes 100% visual inspection & packaging of product Operate machines at optimum efficiency to achieve acceptable rates Tagging and labeling containers per the work instructions Housekeeping and other activities as assigned Assist with Inventory Technical Education Basic math skills needed SPC (Statistical Process Control) preferred but not required Training on proper machine settings (as needed), tagging, labeling, inspection, destruct, and packaging procedures specific to the assigned work cell Qualifications 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred Basic machine operation skills Prior assembly experience helpful but not required Ability to use a calculator Working conditions Ability to move throughout the plant Extended sitting and standing; reaching and bending Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required Loud work environment; compliance with personal protective equipment as required Benefits – as listed below Low-Cost Health Insurance Low-Cost Dental Insurance + Vision Insurance 401(k) Matching Employee Profit Sharing Plan Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Parental Leave Nursing Room Tuition Reimbursement and Online Career Development with Free Tuition Referral Program - Up to $1,500 per Skill Trade Referral Onsite cafeteria Serving Hot Breakfast and Lunch Self-Checkout Snacks and Drinks Market Employee Assistance Program Employee Discount Program Annual Employee and Family Events THIS POSTING IS FOR B&C SHIFT ONLY B: 2:30PM-10:30PM C: 10:30PM-6:30AM Pay is $20.34-21.11/ HR.
