Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,053–$2,221 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 12 weeks Shift: 3x12 night shifts Start date: August 17, 2026 Setting: short-term acute care travel assignment Responsibilities Develops, coordinates and delivers nursing care for telemetry and post-surgical patients, with step-down experience as applicable. Monitors patient status, reads cardiac monitors, manages cardiac drips, and responds to changes in condition per protocol. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to plan and adjust care, and documents assessments, interventions and outcomes in the medical record. Supervises and delegates tasks to CNA/SNA or other health care workers as assigned, while maintaining professional nursing standards. Provides care for adult and geriatric patients, supports discharge planning, pain management, wound care and infection control, and ensures patient safety. Requirements Active Illinois RN license (at time of submission) BLS/CPR (AHA) certification ACLS (AHA) certification NIHSS certification Stepdown experience required; 4 years Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Experience with reading monitors, cardiac drips, and post-surgical cases; adult and geriatric patient care Must have current documentation of Staffing Agency's Illinois Nurse Agency Certificate and include a copy in traveler submission Fully COVID-19 vaccinated Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care setting Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing and onboarding Dedicated support throughout the assignment Nationwide assignments Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
