Radiologic Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab - New Grads please apply

Description A Brief Overview The Cath Lab Tech reports to the Department Assistant Nurse Manager/Director and assists cardiologists and electrophysiologists by performing a variety of duties in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology to support high-quality radiological work in the EP or cardiac catheterization laboratory. Competitive hourly wages $10,000 Sign on bonus Free parking Hours are 4 – 10 hour shifts – 7 am to 5:30 pm. On-Call requirements: 8–10 days of call in a 6‑week period, including at least one weekend. Summer and Winter holiday, 0 minute call back for emergencies. 30 minute call back time. What You Will Do Assess patients’ status and identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age‑specific needs. Assist in acquiring patient history and entering information into the hemodynamic system and/or EMR. Prepare patient and attach leads, defibrillator pads, BP cuff, and set up the sterile field. Assist the physician at the table while maintaining sterile procedures. Ensure availability of supplies and equipment, considering fiscal responsibility. Perform all duties related to radiation safety and protection. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Refer to department documentation during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities. Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI).
