Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Patrol Driver in Sewell, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Patrol Officers to support a public parks and recreation location. Officers conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional service to visitors and staff. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon01:30 PM - 09:30 PMTue01:30 PM - 09:30 PMWed01:30 PM - 09:30 PMThur01:30 PM - 09:30 PMSun01:30 PM - 09:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public parks and recreation locations. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of park grounds, recreation facilities, parking areas, trails, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, hazards, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures. Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
