Senior Lead Product Manager: Receivables Value-Added Services

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager within the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Product organization supporting the Receivables Services team.

This role will support the creation, refinement and articulation of the receivables product strategy and key value propositions, concept evaluation and development, business solution design, build/buy/partner identification, commercialization, POC-> MVP-> Pilot implementations, go-to-market activities, and execute flawlessly on critical milestones to deliver new Wells Fargo GPL solutions to market.

The ideal candidate is an experienced senior product leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. He or she must have proven experience in developing and leading teams to commercialize innovative receivables products that deliver substantial value propositions to the market. This role requires strategic leadership, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The candidate is creative and hands-on, has a bias towards action and is able to inspire others with their vision. Familiarity with the Agile delivery methodology, as well as a strong track record of engaging cross-functional technology teams, will be critical to ensuring successful execution of Wells Fargo’s product roadmap and scalable commercialization of our automated receivables solutions.

This role requires breadth and depth of knowledge and experience in commercial or B2B payments. Success in this role will require deep familiarity with B2B payment ecosystems, including working capital optimization, technology integrations, and the end-to-end Order to Cash process for customers ranging from Emerging Middle Market up to the Commercial and Investment Bank. In addition to traditional product management experience, the ideal candidate will have prior experience with Accounts Receivable systems and/or ERP platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Define and execute the overall receivables product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs, market opportunities, business objectives, and Wells Fargo's strategic priorities.

• Lead product lifecycle management, including feature prioritization, backlog governance, product design, build-versus-buy-versus-partner assessments, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Partner closely with clients, sales teams, platform owners, technology partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate market insights and customer needs into innovative, scalable product solutions.
• Develop and communicate compelling product narratives, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies that drive client adoption, commercialization success, and market penetration.
• Drive execution of product roadmaps by coordinating across leadership, product, technology, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure successful implementation and continuous enhancement of products and services.
• Establish scalable operating models, sales enablement, implementation, and onboarding processes that improve efficiency, support growth, and deliver a seamless client experience.
• Monitor product performance through KPIs, analytics, market intelligence, and customer feedback to drive data-informed decision making, continuous improvement, and long-term product success.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, influencing business plans, managing complex enterprise-wide initiatives, addressing regulatory and risk considerations, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated product management of receivables solutions including cash application tools, collections management automation, Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment services, and deduction management tools..
• Treasury Management and payments industry experience.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing product P&L, pricing, profitability, investment prioritization, attrition and business performance.
• Knowledge of commercial client receivables workflows, including payment receipt, posting, exception management, data delivery, reconciliation and order-to-cash integration.
• Experience developing product strategy and driving revenue growth through client adoption and innovation in support of the migration of clients from paper-based processes to electronic, automated or integrated receivables solutions.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional work across Product, Sales, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
• Experience with product risk management, change management, third-party dependencies, business continuity and control design in a regulated environment.
• Strong client-facing and commercialization skills, including proposition development, strategic client engagement and adoption planning.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics, frame tradeoffs and make clear recommendations.
• Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity and drive accountability across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, technology or a related field.

Job Expectations:

• Position will require onsite presence from any of the required locations listed
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, in office at least 3 days a week
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $139,000.00 - $260,000.00
