Job Overview

The role involves delivering a range of radiographic services, which includes positioning patients before conducting radiographic exposures and managing all radiographic equipment effectively.

Qualifications

Patient Age Range: All age groups are served.
Educational Requirement: A High School Diploma or GED is essential.
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of radiographic procedures and practices.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Florida State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
- Alternatively, candidates must present proof of program completion and a temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license upon hiring.
- Passing the ARRT Certification exam and obtaining the Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of hire or transfer is mandatory.
Experience Requirement: Less than one year of experience in radiology along with formal training is required.
