About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team. The CFO will be a key member of the management team, leading the financial functions of the organization and serving as a role model for its values. This strategic and collaborative professional will have direct responsibility for a range of financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, cash management, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial reporting to various stakeholders. The CFO will also be involved in risk management and legal activities and will oversee a staff of ten, including three direct reports. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will be a principled and engaged leader with a strong background in financial management. They should be adept at maintaining, developing, and monitoring internal financial procedures and controls. The role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage investor relationships and is experienced in financial reporting to government agencies, grantors, partners, and lenders. The CFO will play a critical role in the business operations of the organization, which is dedicated to developing and managing service-enriched, special needs affordable housing.
