Engaging IMCU & MedSurg Nursing Opportunity


Join a dynamic healthcare team and make a real difference in patients' lives! We are currently seeking skilled nurses for an exciting nursing position.

Job Description:
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage.
- Location: Local candidates preferred! Those residing less than 50 miles away will be at a local rate.
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year of IMCU experience
- 2+ years of recent MedSurg and telemetry experience
- Experience with neuro care, myocardial infarctions (MIs), and tracheostomies
- Ability to care for complex medical needs
- Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry rhythm strips
- Telemetry test will be conducted on day 1.
- Preferred Experience:
- Critical care experience
- Unit Overview:
- 27 beds with a high volume of neuro, medicine, and cardiology patients
- Average patient ratio: 1:3 (IMCU) and 1:4 or 1:4-5 for MedSurg patients
- Opportunity to care for chronic ventilator patients, tracheostomies, and high acuity heart failure cases
- Skills Needed:
- Automated medication dispensing knowledge
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
