Pre-Opening General ManagerAs a pre-opening general manager you will own the outcome everyday. This role will oversee the operational excellence of the property, the growth and satisfaction of onsite team members and the entire guest experience. Looking ahead, we're driven by a vision to set new standards in hotel management, creating value for our partners and unforgettable experiences for our guests.ResponsibilitiesTake an ownership stake in the opening of the property by managing pre opening tasks during ramp up.Interview, hire and train new team members for property launch.Manage onsite staff, driving employee satisfaction scores while striving for operational excellence. This includes a large focus on housekeeping operations and building maintenance.Ensure that property preventative maintenance is followed. Coordinate with vendors, getting the best results for property repairs while managing cost.Maintain the property condition as well as FF&E in guest units, public areas and BOH.Develop and implement best practices geared towards optimizing occupancy, net rates, social and listing marketing, and overall experience.Manage and grow vendor relationships and cost.Foster and maintain the relationships between ownership and management.Oversee property expenses, manage monthly checkbooks and provide month end critique.Support property sales through site tours, property tours and events.Build partnerships in the community.QualificationsA hands on leader with a minimum of 3 years of hospitality leadership experience, previous experience with heart of house operations preferred.Previous experience managing housekeeping operations and laundry.Experienced in recruiting and on-boarding new employees to scale an elite team.Critical thinking, able to find out of the box solutions to drive results.Someone who drives culture by leading from the front, effective communication, daily standups and team meetings.Tech savvy to manage all inventory of systems and products like keypads, locks, and key access boxes.Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year
