Physician Assistant - Orthopedics

Orthopedic hospital-based position in Norwich, CT.

An established orthopedic practice in Norwich, CT is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role, hospital-based. New graduates welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• General orthopedic cases

• First assist in the OR

• Treat patients pre/post-operative

• Perform hospital rounds

• Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations

• Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients

• Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance

• Develop and implement patient management plans

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Active CT State License or ability to obtain one

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
