Spero Health is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to join our awesome team!
This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of Saving Lives Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor/Social Workers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
- Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
- Provide patient education.
- Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
- Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
- Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations
Requirements
LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION:
- Education : Minimum Bachelors Degree in a human services field (psychology sociology social work family studies human services counseling nursing or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders) OR High School Diploma with CDCA licensure.
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Masters Degree in behavioral science as defined above.
- License : LSW LISW LPC LPCC LMFT LIMFT LCDCII LCDC III LICDC CDCA
