Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Role Overview: This Registered Nurse in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) provides perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting a variety of cases including Ophthalmology, UROGYN, Women's health, and Plastics. Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process. Support patients during critical points in their surgical experience, ensuring clinical excellence and continuity of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to teamwork, trust, and shared purpose. Qualifications & Skills Educational requirements include a 2-year/Associate Degree (required) or 4-year/Bachelor's Degree (preferred) from an accredited nursing program. At least one year of ASC, PACU, or OR experience is preferred. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is mandatory. Additional certifications like ACLS and PALS are preferred. Must understand RN roles per NC nurse practice act, prioritize workloads, modify care based on patient age, and interpret patient needs.
