• Location: Show Low, Arizona (White Mountains region, Show Low, AZ 85901)
• Role: Locum Tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,920 - $8,350
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days (shifts may vary: 10, 12, 16 hours)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Start Dates: Aug 24-30, Sept 21-25, Sept 28-Oct 9
• Call Schedule: Every 6th weekend; night call rotation every 12 weeks (30-minute response required)
• Practice Model: All-CRNA practice (7 CRNAs; 5 ORs)
• EMR: Cerner

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CRNA clinical experience with general and regional anesthesia preferred
• Active CRNA certification and state licensure, or eligibility for Arizona licensure (AZ)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA-issued)
• Proficiency with epidurals, spinals, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (peripheral nerve blocks)
• Ability to provide case logs demonstrating experience with epidurals, spinals, and peripheral nerve blocks
• Comfort providing obstetric anesthesia coverage and float coverage across ORs as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality general and regional anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical cases in a busy OR setting
• Perform spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks (most blocks performed; no nerve catheters required)
• Provide obstetric anesthesia coverage and float between operating rooms when needed
• Participate in scheduled night and weekend call rotations and respond according to call policy
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and case logs in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
