Registered Nurse Emergency Room Saratoga Springs, NY

Facility Setting: Hospital

Unit/Department: Emergency Department

Shift: 07:00 PM-07:30 AM | Weekends: Every other | Call: None

Requirements:

• License: NY State Registered Nurse
• Certs: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Experience: 5 years in Emergency Department
• EMR: EPIC
• Compliance: Facility physical required, Flu required, Med or religious document needed 10 days before start
• Locals: Cannot reside in certain NY counties
• RTO Policy: Must adhere to facility policy

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform crisis evaluations for mental health patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system

Notes:

• Facility has county restrictions for employment
• ECG exam required upon arrival with study material provided
• Candidates who have worked at this facility in the past year will not be considered
