Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care in an acute care environment. The role requires working independently with pediatric patients and supports their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess pediatric patients.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Provide ongoing evaluation and adjustments to therapy as needed.
Document patient progress using electronic health records, specifically Epic.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric physical therapy.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for local consideration.

Working Conditions

Shift: Day shift, 5 consecutive days per week (Monday to Friday).
Shift times are flexible within an 8-hour window from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM.
No on-call responsibilities are required.
Facility may call off one shift every two weeks, but guaranteed hours may apply.
