About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Phone Triage - Outpatient Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endocrinology Duration: 8 weeks with potential for extension Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: EPIC EMR experience required Must-Have: - Phone triage experience - Patient education skills - Ability to handle prior authorization and refill calls - Familiarity with lab orders Description: This position focuses on metabolic medicine, thyroid, diabetes, and endocrinology education. The role primarily involves patient education via phone. In-person education for glucose meters and injection instructions may also be required. The RN will be responsible for confirming prior authorizations, calling in refills, and managing lab orders. Candidates should expect an interview process followed by a shadowing opportunity with triage nurses.
