Key Responsibilities\nAs an LCSW in our hospice setting, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring the therapeutic approach aligns with individual goals. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, preserving the integrity and privacy of our patients’ information. \n
- Collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and spiritual care providers, to create an integrated plan of care that addresses the comprehensive needs of each patient. \n
- Providing education and support to patients and their families about mental health, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them through challenging times. \n
- Engaging in regular supervision, case consultations, and peer reviews to contribute to personal development and enhance the overall quality of mental health care offered. \n
- Staying informed about advancements in the mental health field, incorporating new research findings into practice to continuously improve treatment outcomes. \n
This role primarily focuses on supporting patients in hospice care who are facing terminal illnesses and their families. You will provide both emotional support and guidance to help them navigate grief, loss, and end-of-life challenges. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York, exemplifying your dedication to the profession. \n
