Specialty Account Manager, Long Term Care (Peoria, IL)

Axsome Therapeutics

Axsome Therapeutics seeks a field-based Specialty Account Manager for long-term care in Peoria, IL to drive product adoption and commercial execution across assigned LTC facilities. The role requires expertise in neuroscience conditions, relationship-building with care teams, and mastery of both virtual and in-person engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

Drive product adoption and market penetration within assigned LTC facilities
Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, and LTC care staff
Execute virtual and in-person engagement strategies with key stakeholders
Assess local market landscape, key opinion leaders, and emerging trends
Support product launch and commercial strategy execution at territory level

Requirements

Proven experience in long-term care or specialty pharmaceutical sales
Knowledge of neuroscience therapeutics and CNS conditions
Strong relationship-building and account management skills
Ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals in clinical settings
Territory management and sales execution experience
Proficiency with virtual and live customer engagement methods
