Material and Logistics Coordinator - Lisle, IL

7AM - 3:30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material and Logistics Coordinator to manage warehousing and inventory processes efficiently. This role involves receiving, verifying, and organizing materials, as well as overseeing project-related shipping and procurement logistics.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify counts against received purchase orders using Coupa Software.
• Unpack, count, and store materials in storage; distribute samples to team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and records using Sortly inventory software, including revision control.
• Administer POC Labs Sortly Inventory Software.
• Manage project-related shipping, including packing, crating, and customs documentation for PoC materials and equipment.
• Ship raw materials to vendors from POC stock.
• Support and own warehouse organization to ensure timely material access for projects.
• Kit and issue materials to POC Lab from warehouse.
• Manage the return to stock process from POC Lab back to stock.
• Track inbound shipments provided by procurement, manage customs clearance challenges, and coordinate with inventory clerks for efficient material intake.
• Coordinate with the Broker Team to ensure parts are in the customs database and ready to clear customs upon shipment.
• Communicate with shippers on logistics issues and arrange expedited shipments with the Molex Broker.
• Initiate international shipments and invoicing for POC projects, including crating coordination.
• Conduct indirect purchasing and manage the Coupa Punchout Catalog for lab supplies and equipment.
• Direct purchasing of select items for Jira off-the-shelf items.
• Monitor and maintain Coupa system, resolve discrepancies, and ensure purchase order closeout.
• Conduct system inventory transactions, maintain stockroom organization, and manage inventory accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments in the system.
• Kit projects, perform system transactions, and manage return to stock processes.
• Ensure proper labeling and lot creation.

Essential Skills

• Experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, and vendor logistics support.
• Proficiency in data entry, cycle counts, and managing international shipping.
• Experience with SAP and cycle counting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Stockroom experience and familiarity with international shipping processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lisle, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
