Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit, offering a 36 or 48-hour shift option. The role involves providing high-quality patient care during labor and delivery, adhering to industry standards and hospital protocols. Responsibilities: Evaluate and monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery. Administer medications and assist with procedures as needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate and support patients and their families during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Ensure documentation compliance using Epic charting system. Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current state or compact license in hand. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor and Delivery. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate. Ability to complete onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing. Availability for night shifts (3x12 hours, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
