Role Senior/Staff Software Engineer Payments & Fraud

Location: Seattle, WA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid minimum 4 days onsite/week

Core requirement: This is primarily a Payments / Commerce / Fraud + Backend/Cloud Architecture role, not a generic Java backend position.

Key Requirements

6 10+ years software development experience
5+ years hands-on payments & commerce systems
Strong payment processing, fraud prevention, asset protection
PCI / SOX compliance
Enterprise-scale payment operations
Microservices & REST APIs
Cloud architecture & cloud security
Secure, scalable distributed systems
SaaS platforms
System integration across multiple services
Strong coding and code-review/technical leadership experience
Ability to establish coding/testing standards across teams
Bachelor's in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent
AI/ML and analytics experience preferred
Seattle-area candidate able to work onsite 4+ days/week
