Work Here!* Listens to and records proceedings, dialogue, or dictation of reports, correspondence, and other matters.* Transcribes recorded material into readable format.* Responsible for reading portions of transcript aloud when requested.* Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:* High School/GED; Must be certified by the State of Texas as a Court Reporter.* 5 years experience as a freelance or court reporter.* Must have knowledge and familiarity with Computer Aided Transcription (CAT).* Must provide equipment necessary to provide “real time” reporting.**STARTING SALARY:** $130,956.80 annually**CLOSING DATE:** Upon filling position#LI-JL1**All full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
