Job Summary We are seeking a midlevel Restructuring and Insolvency associate to join the Charlotte, Portland, or Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience as a bankruptcy judicial law clerk and/or as a practicing commercial bankruptcy lawyer representing debtors and/or creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, state law insolvency proceedings, and out‑of‑court restructurings. Experience with avoidable transfer litigation and asset sales is preferred. California bar admission is also preferred but not required. Responsibilities Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers across our U.S. platform who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self‑starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Qualifications Three to five years of experience as a bankruptcy judicial law clerk or commercial bankruptcy lawyer. Experience with Chapter 11, state law insolvency, and out‑of‑court restructurings. Knowledge of avoidable transfer litigation and asset sales preferred. Strong academic record, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities. Compensation Base compensation ranges from $210,000 to $340,000 per year. The exact salary will be determined during the interview process based on experience and other factors.
