Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency setting License: Active RN license Certifications: - ACLS before starting date - BLS before starting date - PALS before starting date - TNCC before starting date - CPI before starting date - NIHSS before starting date - ENPC within 90 days of hire Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of experience in an emergency setting. - Teamwork mentality. - Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: The position involves working in a fast-paced emergency department. The unit typically has a patient ratio of 4:1 for medical cases, and up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Staffing includes technicians available to assist in various areas of patient care. Documentation is done using a specific electronic system. Scheduling requirements include working every other weekend. Candidates must be open to floating within all sections of the emergency department. Patient experience is prioritized through respectful behavior. Certification requirements must be completed prior to the start date. This department is recognized for its strong teamwork focus.
