About the Role

\n

TITANICOM is seeking a Project Manager with a technical background in field engineering or IT to support data center operations and IT infrastructure projects in Ashburn.

\n

The successful candidate will combine project management experience with practical technical capabilities to coordinate project delivery, guide on-site teams, and train junior engineers and technicians.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage data center and IT infrastructure projects from planning and execution through acceptance and handover.
\n
• Define project scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
\n
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
\n
• Track project progress, costs, dependencies, risks, and outstanding actions.
\n
• Provide technical guidance to on-site teams and support the resolution of technical issues.
\n
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians, including practical instruction, task guidance, and review of completed work.
\n
• Translate customer requirements into clear project plans and technical tasks.
\n
• Facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders.
\n
• Manage project changes, maintain documentation, and provide regular progress reports.
\n
• Ensure work follows agreed technical procedures, quality standards, and site safety requirements.
\n
• Coordinate project acceptance, handover documentation, and closure.
\n

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

\n

\n
• Mandarin Chinese communication skills and strong English proficiency , with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
\n
• Previous project management experience , with the ability to independently drive project delivery.
\n
• A background in field engineering (FE), IT engineering, IT operations, or a related technical role.
\n
• Practical technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, such as server hardware, networking, equipment deployment, or infrastructure troubleshooting.
\n
• Ability to provide technical guidance and practical training to junior engineers and technicians.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
\n
• Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, identify risks, and take ownership of project outcomes.
\n
• Willingness to work on-site in Ashburn, Virginia.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• A degree or technical qualification in low-voltage systems, automation, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline .
\n
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems, structured cabling, building automation, or monitoring and control systems.
\n
• Working knowledge of Java and/or Python , with the ability to understand code or develop basic scripts for automation, troubleshooting, or reporting.
\n
• Experience working in a physical data center or supporting data center infrastructure projects.
\n
• Experience managing international projects and coordinating multicultural teams.
\n
• Familiarity with project management, ticketing, and reporting tools.
\n
• PMP, PRINCE2, or a comparable project management certification.
\n
