It should not be considered exhaustive.ACCOUNTABILITIESAge-Appropriate Care: Applies the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care to patients across all age groups (infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric).Patient Sensitivity and Competence: Demonstrates sensitivity to the physical, emotional, and socio-psychological needs of all patients while delivering care.Radiation Therapy Administration: Delivers prescribed doses of radiation therapy, positions patients, answers questions, and explains procedures as needed.Collaboration and Coordination: Works with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff, and physicians during treatment, coordinating support services like social work and dietary.Safety and Quality Assurance: Maintains department policies, quality assurance programs, and safety standards, and participates in process improvement efforts.REQUIREMENTSEducation: Associate degree in Radiation TherapyLicense: Ohio Radiologic License required to work in OhioCertification: ARRT, CPRPREFERRED REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelors of Radiation TherapySkills: Knowledge of Varian equipment/software, EPICYears of Experience: 1+ year as a working RT; Simulation experience.License: Ohio Radiologic LicenseCertification: ARRT, CPRProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
