Senior Financial Analyst PositionOur client is looking for someone with a strong mix of accounting and finance experience for a Senior Financial Analyst position in Atlanta, GA.Large publicly-traded global company based in Atlanta, GASenior Financial Analyst - Shared Services - to report to a Regional Finance Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and help drive profitability results. CPA preferred.Sandy Springs, GA$80K +/- plus bonus and full benefitsSenior Financial Analyst - Shared ServicesVariance explanations for month end close and corporate reportingConsolidation of regional financial entity reportingAct as the point of contact for regional aging and report out to corporateDevelop the regional budgets and forecast in JDE/Workforce ManagementLiaison with the field to identify and quantify forecast adjustmentsLiaison with Shared Services Accounting support to identify and quantify variancesAssist Regional Vice Presidents in development of action plans to correct variances and achieve financial goalsParticipate in weekly/month-end P&L review callsIdentify and understand forecast drivers for incorporation into region's fiscal forecast. Prepare materials (business/action plans & financial analysis) for quarterly leadership business reviewsStrategic reporting and analysis in support of contract bid proposalsProactive support for troubled accounts and action plansManage new/closed account requests, review billings payroll and accrualsEnsure field completes transfer of capital assets and required system updatesBBA in Finance, MBA, CPA preferred3-5 years of financial analysis and accounting experience, preferably in a service based publicly traded companyGAAP & strength in transactional accounting and balance sheet reconciliationsCan handle high volume business requirements & environmentExperience preferred (not required): JDE/Workforce Management, Insight financial reporting tool, ePay payroll system, Hyperion, OracleSuperuser Excel and PowerPoint skills to build models and presentations in support of financial analysis and reporting projections
