Investment Operations Analyst

The role of the Investment Operations Analyst is to support the Wealth Management accounts and maintain transactional processing, currency exchanges, and reconciliations. What are the responsibilities? As a Investment Operations Analyst, you will: Carry out and initiate strategies for process improvement to mitigate risks internally and for clients. Promptly and accurately complete security transactions. Maintain reports for daily operations and long-term decision-making. Reconcile daily activities between depositories and the trust/bond accounting system. Contribute to and maintain the development of requirements. Assist auditors, account officers, WMS management, investment managers, compliance, and support personnel with resolutions. Initiate and improve procedures for seamless transactional processing and reporting for teams. Take part in account conversions, user meetings, and other conference call meetings. Propose alternative methods for securities processing. Complete additional responsibilities as required. What are the requirements? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years securities operations experience preferred Some knowledge of trust or banking preferred Understanding of securities & Wealth Management accounting systems Knowledge of accounting practices/principles (reconciliation, trust accounting, bond accounting preferred) PC & software application skills Analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills You would be really happy here if: You can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently.
