Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) Cath Lab Technologist

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
One year's catheterization experience (preferred)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License (required in OR)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (required)
At least two years recent experience in the field
Current nursing license per the state of assignment

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with procedures and provide patient care throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Operate special procedure equipment and modify technical factors as necessary.
Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs.
Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and assist with troubleshooting.
Document test results accurately and maintain records.

Compliance / Notes: Day shift options include 4/10 or open to 5/8 schedules. CATH LAB experience is required. A valid Oregon state license is required.
