At Messiah Lifeways, our Guest Services Concierge is often the very first person visitors, residents, family members, and team members encounter. In this role, you'll be the welcoming face of our communityoffering a warm greeting, answering questions, providing directions, and helping everyone feel at home from the moment they walk through our doors. What You'll Do Welcome visitors, residents, family members, vendors, and team members with exceptional hospitality Manage the telephone system and direct calls with professionalism and care Monitor building access, assist with visitor sign-in procedures, and help maintain a safe and secure environment Serve as a knowledgeable resource about Messiah Lifeways' services and programs Connect guests with the right departments and team members to meet their needs Receive and manage package deliveries, distribute keys and fobs, and assist with mailroom operations Support various administrative tasks including updating directories, preparing documents, mailings, spreadsheets, and internal communications Respond appropriately to alarms and emergency situations while following established safety procedures Communicate important information between shifts and collaborate closely with fellow Concierge team members Help create a positive experience for everyone who visits or calls Messiah Lifeways What Makes You a Great Fit Friendly, welcoming, and service-oriented Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment Organized and detail-oriented Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Enjoys working with older adults and supporting a mission-driven organization Basic computer and office equipment skills Why Join Messiah Lifeways? Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, personal integrity and the ability to present Messiah Lifeways in a positive, professional, and engaging manner Must possess the ability to work under pressure and with interruptions Must possess a pleasant telephone etiquette and the ability to accommodate guests in a pleasant manner Demonstrates computer proficiency and the ability to complete administrative tasks Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent is required Previous receptionist training or similar experience (preferred, but not required) Computer proficiency is required
