Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract position in Fridley, MN. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in pharmacy who is ready to apply their skills in a dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist:
- Accept and dispense prescription medications
- Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
- Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
- Ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable
- Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
- Advise patients about medicines, including how to take them, possible reactions, and answer questions
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
- Provide services such as smoking cessation and blood pressure measurement
- Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices
- Compound medications for use
- Prepare sterile solutions following procedures
- Supervise pharmacy staff
- Maintain inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
- Identify and communicate patient drug-related problems
- Work with healthcare professionals to deliver patient care
Requirements of the Pharmacist:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
- Licensed by the state pharmacy board
