A passionate LPN is needed to provide dedicated care for a 5th grade student requiring medical support throughout the school day, beginning with home pick-up and bus rides to and from school. This is a contract position offering the chance to make a profound difference for a young learner while utilizing your clinical expertise in a structured educational environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active LPN license in the state of Georgia is required
• Previous experience in a 1:1 school-based nursing setting is preferred
• Competency in seizure care, oral suctioning, G/J-tube management, supplemental oxygen, and asthma management
• Comfortable administering medication and monitoring vitals
• Reliable early-morning and afternoon availability (6:30am – 2:30/3:00pm)
• Ability to work independently and compassionately with students with complex medical needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at their home each morning, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport
• Perform daily care routines including g-tube feeding, oral suctioning, oxygen supplementation, and seizure monitoring
• Provide consistent oversight and support throughout the school day per individual education plan (IEP) and physician’s orders
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain detailed health records
• Communicate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers regarding the student’s condition
• Ride the school bus with the student, providing medical supervision as needed to and from the school
