Registered Nurse IR Special Procedures

Portsmouth Regional Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures. This RN provides specialized pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, IV access, medication and moderate sedation administration, hemodynamic monitoring, and recovery care while maintaining strict safety and infection-control standards. The nurse collaborates closely with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams, educating patients and families and supporting a patient-first, team-oriented culture focused on clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
