Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in leading clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong clinical leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, committed to delivering high-quality resident care and ensuring regulatory compliance.This role plays a key part in maintaining clinical excellence, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations across all units.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations of the nursing departmentEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilitiesSupport implementation and enforcement of clinical policies and proceduresMonitor resident care delivery to ensure high standards of quality and safetySupervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAsAssist with staffing, scheduling, and workflow management to ensure adequate coverageParticipate in care plan meetings, clinical audits, and quality assurance initiativesSupport survey preparedness and assist during regulatory inspectionsAddress clinical concerns and assist with performance improvement initiativesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomesQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (required)Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferredStrong knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and nursing practicesExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to resident-centered care and team developmentBenefitsCompetitive salary up to $125,000 annuallyHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday pay401(k) retirement planOpportunities for professional growth and advancementSupportive and collaborative leadership environmentWhy Join Our Team?At The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we are committed to excellence in resident care and staff development.
