Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing surgical team in Grand Junction, CO . This full-time role involves rotating shifts and requires a strong understanding of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment

• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field

• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

• Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens

• Count sponges, needles, and instruments to maintain patient safety

• Clean and restock OR after procedures

• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

• 1+ year of recent surgical tech experience preferred

• BLS certification required

• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work rotating shifts

• Familiarity with various surgical specialties and equipment
