Outpatient Physical Therapist - Float

This is a 13-week contract position starting in May/June.

5x8.0 - 40 hours per week

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. This position involves delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that support effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in a clear, concise manner.
• Provide education to patients, families, students, and colleagues.
• Participate in student program supervision and evaluation.
• Maintain professional licensure and adherence to ethical conduct standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.
• Previous experience with this agency is highly desired.
