Senior Director, Manufacturing Strategy
AbbVie
Senior Director leading global manufacturing strategy across AbbVie's ME&C network. Responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize operations, drive efficiency, and align with organizational objectives. Reports to SVP of Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies across ME&C sites supporting business growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership, operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams on integrated plans
- Manage ME&C site selection and make-buy processes and long-range planning
- Establish goals, metrics, and KPIs to monitor strategic project implementation
- Partner with regional strategy directors and site leadership to achieve network objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred
- 15+ years manufacturing operations, strategy, or related leadership experience
- Strong technical knowledge of GMP manufacturing, quality operations, CMC development, and pharmaceutical regulations
- Proven track record developing and implementing manufacturing strategies
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning, and complex program management skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in global, multi-cultural environments
- Strong communication, analytical, and conflict resolution abilities
