What You’ll Do

• Provide clinic consultations and follow-up care for urology patients
• Perform surgical procedures as scheduled, following medical best practices
• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Adhere to facility protocols and documentation standards
• Support the temporary coverage needs of the facility during the physician’s leave
• Maintain compliance with licensing and credentialing requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings

What You Need

Required:

• Active New Mexico medical license in good standing
• Urology board certification or eligibility
• At least 2 years of clinical and surgical experience in Urology
• Strong diagnostic and procedural skills

Preferred:

• Prior locum or temporary coverage experience in hospital or clinic settings
• Ability to commit to at least one week per month, preferably two

About the Assignment

This assignment involves providing clinic and surgical coverage at a leading healthcare facility in Los Alamos, NM. The provider will support the team during a physician’s leave, working Monday through Friday with no weekend duties. The role emphasizes outpatient care and surgical procedures, with a flexible schedule of one to two weeks per month starting in late 2025.
