Job description: HH/PTA ratio: 1:6. Years of experience required: 2. First-timers accepted: no. Weekend requirement: not required. Certifications required: BLS. Skills required: cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, medical surgical, orthopedics, home health, adaptive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, arousal and attention, assistive devices, body mechanics, identifying environmental barriers, pain assessment, sensory response, skin integrity, strength testing, vital signs, breathing techniques, assessment, time management, gait belt, rolling walker, sliding boards, standard walker, supplemental oxygen, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, home exercise program, lifting and transfer, medications, order supplies, patient family education, scheduling appointments, telephone calls, PTA, state licensed.

On-call requirement: no. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: no. Local radius rule: home address must be at least 75 miles from facility. Pending license accepted: no. Territory/county covering: 40-80 miles. Mileage reimbursed: $0.55/mile. RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days. Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the contractor personnel is assigned.

Special requirements: required skills; previous home care experience, strong critical thinking skills, assessment skills, communications skills, collaboration with the PT. Knowledge, organizational skills, efficiency, time management skills and flexibility.
