BryantCorp, a family-owned developer, owner and operator of hotels and commercial real estate throughout the Southeast, is looking for our next investment and finance leader.

This is a multi-faceted role with a focus on investment management, portfolio strategy and accounting and finance leadership. On the investment side, you will underwrite acquisitions and developments, manage the models, and support financings and recapitalizations from term sheet through closing. On the finance and accounting side, you will own our general ledger and the accounting and financial data across the company and our investment properties. You will report to and works alongside the company President. Over time this flexible role can expand on the operational front to include management of leases / tenants, treasury functions, incentive compensation, and involvement in many other areas of the business.

Growth

• BryantCorp is an established and diversified real estate business beginning its next phase of growth. We're currently managing projects throughout the Southeast, including a one-of-a-kind hotel project underway in Wilson, with more acquisitions under evaluation, and a full pipeline.

• You will have a clean slate to build out a scalable finance functions, not inheriting one that already runs. Our goal is for this person to grow into the CFO seat as the company and team build out.

Basic Responsibilities

• Transaction support - Development financings and recapitalizations, term sheets, diligence, closings

• Portfolio Management - Portfolio analysis and reporting to ownership and capital partners

• Modeling - Build and own our company models; development pro formas, sources and uses, returns waterfalls, sensitivities

• Accounting - monthly close, audit and tax coordination, and outside CPA relationship

• Systems – own the finance stack, including Yardi, and reporting that comes out of it

• Cash management - accounts payable / receivable

• Operating company P&L - budget, allocations, fee structures, cash flow management

• Investment company P&Ls - hotel reporting and flow-through analysis, commercial

  property-level real estate accounting, lender and partner reporting

• Ability and desire to work in office for majority of week (Raleigh, NC)

Qualifications

• At least 2-5 years investment banking, accounting or related relevant experience

• Desire to grow and learn in your role; you don't need to bring all the tools with you, but

  you need a mindset of continuous improvement

• Critical skills include high attention to detail and ability to leverage technology, AI, and

  tools to enhance process

• Nice to have experience in real estate, hospitality, property management, multi-entity

  accounting

• CPA or CFA certifications are a plus

• Desire to build a long-term career in a privately-owned and diversified real estate business

Compensation Range (commensurate with experience)

• Salary: $125,000-$150,000 per year

• Bonus: 10%-20% of salary based on project- and performance-based targets

• Profit Share Bonus based on overall portfolio performance
