A unique opportunity is available for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/LNA) to provide essential care and support during a summer school program. This contract role is ideal for an individual passionate about fostering a safe and nurturing environment for students, ensuring they receive high-quality care throughout the ESY (Extended School Year) session.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
• July 13–30, 2026
• 100% attendance is required

Qualifications:

• Active CNA or LNA certification required
• Prior experience supporting student or pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to fostering a safe, positive school environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on care and support to students according to individual care plans
• Assist students with activities of daily living and mobility needs in the classroom and school settings
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and adhere to all health guidelines
• Respond promptly to medical needs or emergencies under the direction of licensed school nursing staff
• Communicate with teachers and staff to ensure students’ health and safety needs are consistently met
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all school and healthcare regulations
