Join our team and contribute to groundbreaking projects that make a difference. Job Description - Deputy Program Manager Location: Luling, TX (must be TX based or willing to relocate)As an Advanced Manufacturing Deputy Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects within our propellant manufacturing system development and propellant/energetic production programs. Your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of these programs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing projects, as well as managing the teams and resources involved. Your leadership and organizational skills will be key in aligning program objectives with business goals and technical requirements. Program Planning and ExecutionDevelop comprehensive program plans that outline goals, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.Oversee the execution of program plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain across different projects within the program.Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation to meet program objectives.Serve as the primary point of contact for all program stakeholders, including team members, executives, and government representatives and external partners.Communicate program progress, challenges, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders, maintaining transparency and collaboration.Risk Management, Problem Solving, and Continuous Improvement Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks that may impact program objectives particularly those related to requirements, technical and manufacturing challenges.Resolve complex issues and conflicts within the program, applying effective problem-solving skills.Evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement.Implement best practices and lessons learned into future program phases and company-wide initiatives.Customer Interface and Management Manage and support customer interaction including contacts management, IPT leadership, and detailed customer briefsTrack and manage customer contract requirements and deliverables as well as funding and financialsBasic QualificationsX-Bow is interested in motivated self-starters with excellent communication and technical skills, as well as having broad interest and experience in both leadership and technology.Bachelor 's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in a technical field (Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Chemical Processing preferred)Proven track record of managing complex programs with multiple projects and cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and toolsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsLocation RequirementsLuling, TX
