What You'll Do

As a Tool Room Machinist, you'll manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tooling used throughout our production facility.

Your responsibilities include:

• Machine, repair, and fabricate tooling, dies, fixtures, and replacement parts
• Operate manual and CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and related machinery
• Perform precision machining on ferrous, non-ferrous, and composite materials
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvements
• Support tooling rebuilds, refurbishments, and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain tooling inventory and prepare tool sets for production
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machine shop or manufacturing experience
• Experience operating manual machining equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training in Tool & Die, Machining, or Manufacturing Technology
• CNC machining experience
• Basic CNC programming knowledge
• Experience repairing and rebuilding tooling
• Experience with OD/ID grinding or jig grinding
• High-speed manufacturing experience
