Job Summary
Southern Tire Mart is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to manage our Trainee Program and Supply Chain Internship, while helping the HR team with general recruiting and onboarding. You will work closely with our stores to build relationships with technical colleges and schools, attend career fairs to find new talent, and help all departments fill difficult roles when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Programs: Run our Trainee Program and Supply Chain Internship. Monitor progress and act as the main point of contact for all trainees and interns.
- Build School Relationships: Partner with store managers to build strong relationships with local trade schools, technical colleges, and universities.
- Attend Career Fairs: Plan and attend campus career fairs and hiring events to find new trainees and interns.
- Support Recruiting & Onboarding: Assist the HR department with day-to-day recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Fill Difficult Roles: Work directly with different company departments to help find candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with store managers, school staff, and candidates.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, from structured student programs to urgent hiring needs.
- Willingness to travel to career fairs and school events as needed.
